Festival Music House kicked off its three-night concert series of Toronto's top musical talent with an intimate show headlined by Stars Monday night at the Roosevelt Room. But the biggest star of the night was the utterly charming Basia Bulat, whose smaller, folkier sound was a better fit for the close quarters.

Works of art replace ads after hostile billboard takeover

TARGETING PILLARS owned by billboard giant Pattison Outdoor that were allegedly in violation of city bylaws, more than a dozen volunteers joined together to remove 41 ads and replace them with 85 pieces of art donated by both local and international artists.
