Designer T-shirts on sale for charity

Toronto fashion designer Franco Mirabelli, style mavens Steven and Chris, and Breakfast Television host Dina Pugliese are just a few of the local celebrities supporting Wear White 4 Windfall -- an annual anti-poverty public awareness and fundraising campaign.

Windfall collects new clothing and other basic-needs items and distributes them, free of charge, to Toronto's neediest citizens.

To help raise money and awareness, Mirabelli has designed a white t-shirt with “WHITE” embroidered in large vertical lettering on one side -- inspired by a 1980’s Wham! video.

The limited-edition white tee features a scoop neckline, is fitted and available in small, medium and large.

“Windfall is a great charity to be associated with and I am delighted to be able to use my design skills to help create awareness and raise money for the cause,” Franco said.

The 2010 campaign will culminate on January 28 when Torontonians will be encouraged to wear something white and donate $4 in support of Windfall.

Get the t-shirt at any Mirabelli boutique throughout January or visit www.ww4w.ca
