Morning Throwback: before the Honda Indy, cars raced boats on ice

Before the Honda Indy, there was the popular car versus iceboat race. The race would last for years, or until one of the contestants perished from frostbite. Eventually, the race was moved to the summer months and the boat was taken out of equation because, well, boat shoes are for wusses.
