Parkdale’s Easy Restaurant is expanding to Little Italy

The food Gods have been kind to Little Italy as of late, and there’s more yet to come. College Street is about to get its very own incarnation of Easy Restaurant, Parkdale’s retro-inspired daytime diner. Owner Peter Morrison expects to open his new venue by early May.
Currently under construction at 713 College Street, Easy will replace the recently-closed Sit in Bangkok. Morrison tells us that the new location will be pretty much exactly the same as the original in concept and menu, with the added benefit of a 10-seat patio out front.
Easy is known for its all-day breakfast, including its signature dish, the Mexican-inspired huevos divorciados (two eggs on a corn tortilla with salsa, black beans and guacamole).
The news also makes at least one other thing certain: hangover recovery on College Street is about to get significantly easier.
