Coming soon to Toronto: hamburgers from Marky Mark and Donnie

Mark and Donnie Wahlberg — yeah, that Mark and that Donnie — own a hamburger chain, and it’s coming to Toronto. Wahlburgers, as it’s called, will be opening at the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel by early 2014. The brothers own the chain with one of their other siblings, Paul, who acts as executive chef and who nobody has ever heard of.

We’re told that this first Toronto location will open at a new space at the hotel, so Senses isn’t going anywhere just yet. The menu offers a pretty standard selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads and more, but what everyone really wants to know is, “what to Mark and Donnie get when they’re eating at their own restaurant?”

So, here we go: Donnie’s menu choice is The BBQ Bacon Burger (a burger with bacon, avocado, cheese, jalapenos and barbecue sauce), while Mark’s is The Thanksgiving Burger (a turkey burger with orange-cranberry sauce, roasted butternut squash and stuffing).

Paul’s choice, for the zero people who care, is the Our Burger (a classic burger with American cheese, pickles, tomato and onion).
