Tony Aspler’s Weekly Wine Pick: a light and fresh Riesling that’s a great match for Asian cuisine

Süssreserve is grape juice that is added to wine after it has been fermented to add a touch of sweetness, a traditional practice in Germany. This wine is straw coloured with a greenish tint. The nose is honey and citrus fruits. It is off-dry, light, fresh and lively with honey and grapefruit flavours that sustain well on the palate.

Food match: Thai dishes; light curried dishes

$14.95, Vintages #258806
