Retail Therapy: 8th + Main opens at Yonge and Shuter

8th + Main had its roots in used and vintage clothing, and expanded into the new clothing and accessories market for men and women a couple of years later.

It first opened in Vancouver at the intersection of Main Street and 8th Avenue, and numerous other locations have opened up since then, including the first out-of-province location in Toronto earlier this year.

8th + Main carries a little bit of everything, and its aesthetic is fairly varied. Among its goods you will find Cheap Monday, Vero Moda, RVCA, Only & Sons, Native Youth and Just Black, to name a few.

Just Black’s high-waisted jeans ($50) easily pair with a cropped sweater or T-shirt. Rompers ($35-$50) can be worn as-is or spruced up with tights and a belt.

And with spring just around the corner, 8th + Main has been stocking up on sunglasses in a huge variety of shapes, colours and sizes (all for $14).
