#97 Smoked & Cracked

Smoked & Cracked

Not necessarily the prettiest place to dine out, but for cocooning, precious little beats their Manhattan seafood chowder and hot lobster roll. The former is a spicy strong tomato-based homage to perfectly cooked fresh seafood, the latter a butter-basted egg bun overflowing with half a lobster’s worth of perfectly cooked warm lobster. At $20 this is the best lobster deal in town. The menu offers other chowders/bisques and a cold lobster roll. Do not be tempted by them, for the two mentioned dishes are as good as it gets here.
