#73 Rose and Sons

Rose and Sons

A super diner is a classic. Others do retro diner dcor and call it quits, but chef Anthony Rose (ex Drake Hotel) does it in a schleppy little dive and does it delectable. He marinates chicken in buttermilk for tenderness, southern fries it and puts it on challah with sweetened bacon, crispy frites on the side. So juicy! His grilled romaine with grilled squash and cheesy grilled bread is Caesar deliciously re-born. As for peanut butter chocolate shake, inhale and swoon.
