New wing resto takes off on Yonge Street

Plus, tanning shop celebrates 13 years, and more

Not only does owner En Tae Park know wings, he knows how to decorate a wing joint. Which explains why, when the former interior designer opened Crazy Wings, he went with a modern, Asian-inspired look. “I wanted to give customers a better environment,” he says. The eatery offers eight different types of wings (5600 Yonge St., 416-224-5509).

After years of working out of her basement, Nahid Salehi knew it was time to move up to street level and open Breeze Salon. Salehi says the new salon still feels like being at a friend’s home: “I want them to be comfortable here. It’s not just a business where it’s come and go,” she says of the new salon. Haircuts cost $30 (5375 Yonge St., 647-350-4411).

Owner Tanya Braham is proud to be celebrating 13 years of keeping North York skin beautiful and bronzed at Eternal Tan. Offering both UV tanning and non-UV spray tanning, the business also has a selection of indoor and outdoor tanning products. Drop in and catch some rays, or sprays, whichever you prefer (899-1B Sheppard Ave. W., 416-633-1044).

For the tenured tea taste buds, Ten Ren’s Tea Time will be a welcome addition to the Yorkdale Mall. The shop offers more than 100 varieties of bagged and loose teas, all grown by the company. “From the very start, we handle everything,” says company manager Monica Chang. Bubble tea and tea accessories for home brewing are also offered (1 Yorkdale Rd., 416-782-8288).

Lena’s Nails is a recent addition at the Centerpoint Mall. Offering manicure, pedicure and waxing services, the new spot will keep you looking in top shape (6464 Yonge St., 647-344-0893).
