On June 12, “Jump for Jamaica” at Mel Lastman Square to celebrate the weekly Summer Sintings and Jamaica’s 50th year of independence! Presented by JAMAICA 50 Celebration Inc., these FREE events provide fun for all ages with Jamaican-style music, food and games along with brilliant performances, exclusive speakers and special-guest appearances.

From 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. you can enjoy a variety of happenings including the “Jump for Jamaica” song, created by singer-songwriter Courtney John and deejay Mr. Lexx, along with “The Jump” dance featuring Kevin Ormsby and The Jump Crew.
