Young Families Mitzvah Day

It’s time to celebrate our Temple community, friendship, and commitment to Judaism! Young Families is hosting another Mitzvah Day. Come together to volunteer as a community and strengthen your commitment to tikkun olam, repairing the world. This time, we are collaborating with Ve’ahavta to put together and donate Kinder Kits for local and international children in need. The education kits contain the supplies necessary for a single child’s academic year. We will have a guest speaker from Ve’ahavta do a child friendly presentation. Each kit costs $18 to put together. Time: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. If possible, a minimum $18 donation is requested from families who participate to ensure that we have the supplies to put together the kits. All money donated will go directly to the purchase of the kits.
