FINAL WEEKS! Don't miss this last chance to catch, Second City for Mayor, our latest comedy revue that has both audiences and critics raving! The 2010 Mayoral race in Toronto has been marred by scandal, and we're certainly not above creating a few of our own. Second City for Mayor is a fast-paced, hilarious revue of comic sketches, songs and improvisation featuring up-to-the-minute social and political satire. We're well known, popular, good looking and have lots of secret girlfriends. It's the funniest night you can spend in Toronto...well, at least until the city council starts serving beer. This critically acclaimed revue is directed by Second City alumnus Melody A. Johnson, who also directed The Second City's Canadian Comedy Award nominated revue 0% Down, 100% Screwed. It's time we had a city government we can laugh at for the right reasons. And Second City for Mayor delivers the laughs by blending The Second City's famous sketch comedy with director Melody A. Johnson's playful and artistic theatrical style. Returning to the stage in Second City for Mayor are Rob Baker, Dale Boyer, Adam Cawley, and Caitlin Howden. Joining the cast is Gemini and Canada Comedy Award winner, Inesa Frantowski, as well as a two time Canadian Comedy Award nominee (Dreadwood, Battleawesome Awesomestar) Kris Siddiqi. And The Second City is Toronto's best professional theatre value, with no seat costing more than $29.00. Plus, The Second City offers full bar/table service and dinner-theatre-hotel packages. All this makes Second City for Mayor an affordable and hilarious night out. Second City for Mayor Directed by Melody Johnson. Assistant Director Matt Baram. Musical Director Matt Reid.
