Dafna and Yoram Popper are marking 17 years in business at Dafna’s Swim Centre (4882 Dufferin St.). Dafna was a competitive swimmer in Israel before she opened the centre. She now trains the school’s instuctors with her own specially designed system. The centre specializes in small classes with a low instructor to student ratio. “Even the pool is specially designed here to help kids learn,” she says.
