Walkable areas have many benefits. When you’re close to the amenities you need (shopping, schools, parks, etc.) you drive less and exercise more. And walkability isn’t limited to the downtown core. Scores are out of 100 (with 70+ meaning “very walkable” and 90+ indicating a “walker’s paradise”). So we surfed on over to www.walkscore.com and picked a few of the best options in the area.
