Camp Magnetawan

Camp Magnetawan

Camp Magnetawan has helped hundreds of youth with learning and behavioural needs gain a new perspective in a supportive environment. Operated by world-renowned Youthdale Treatment Centres for over 40 years, Camp Magnetawan caters to children and youth with social issues that might go unnoticed in a larger camp environment. The camp’s arts, drama, sports, swimming, and camping programs promote communication, interaction, and cooperation, and nightly camp fire group sessions allow participants to express themselves and display their talents in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Camp Magnetawan’s unique focus on life and problem-solving skills and shared learning increases campers’ confidence in their own individual strengths and social and academic potential. The camp’s 1,000-acre wilderness property and private lake are 3.5 hours north of Toronto. Four and eight week sessions are available beginning in July, and transportation is available to and from Toronto. Please contact Pauline Williams at 416-368-4896 ext. 2694 or pwilliams@youthdale.ca, or visit www.campmagnetawan.com
