When Monica Krasny started baking cookies at home, she was really laying the groundwork for her new pastry shop at 292 Eglinton Ave.W.

“I’ve been baking my whole life,” Krasny says. “I’m self-taught.” She was able to work full-time and run the cookie and cupcake business from her house for seven years, until her yummy recipes got too many people’s mouths watering. “It’s a very customized experience,” Krasny says. “Customers can get custom-made cupcakes and cookies on the spot.”

Her customers can choose from 24 different mix-ins, and the sweets even come with names.

Try the Holt-Ren-fruity, and for the holiday season, be sure to stop in and get some festive goodies.

Krasny makes cookies for any kind of event — the Olympics, MTV Music Awards, you name it.

“A lot of designers influence our names,” she says. “Everything is a theme, which is cool.”
