Annette Food Market is focused on featuring the food that Max grew up with. Mama hails from Rome and his father is from Sicily. The menu is divvied up into food groups – salad, vegetable, pizza, pasta, meat and cheese, fish and dessert – an ode to the storied grocer that used to bear the same name. It’s meant to incite diners to shy away from traditional Italian coursing – to pick and choose from smaller sharing plates.
