I live on Walker Ave in the heart of Summerhill(Toronto). This is about an incident that occurred on Thursday, March the 9th 2011. I was standing at my front door, when a tall (6'1) black male approached the side of my house. When I asked him what he was doing he replied "I'm from Rogers Cable and I'm here to check your cable line". I responded by telling him he must be mistaken for I had no appointment with Rogers. Then I asked him for the appropriate identification, then him producing some king of card he flashed in my face and put quickly back in his pocket. He still insisted on looking around and I had to sternly convince him to get off of my property at once. This Man to me seems dangerous, insistent, and determined on breaking into someone’s home or vehicle. He then proceeded to cross the street and get into a White Honda civic. I have reported him to the local Police and hope that nobody has another run in with this person. He is fairly heavy built, has short black cornrow hair and a limp. This is easy prey for an elderly person or anyone that might open their door to a stranger. Please be careful out there. Kind Regards Summerhill resident.
