Anna and Katerina Stuhlik of North York’s Salt Spa
Salt Spa, a unique centre for holistic healing and relaxation, has recently opened in Lawrence Village. The spa offers salt therapy sessions where clients spend time in a microclimate environment with aerosol salt particles. “Each of these rooms has about seven tonnes of salt for adults and five tonnes for children,” says owner Anna Stuhlik, who runs the spa alongside her sister Katerina. The benefits of salt therapy include preventing colds and flu, a strengthened immune system and body detoxification and purification. “One session is equivalent to spending two days at the sea, in terms of salt concentration,” she says. Visit 3310 Yonge St. or call 416-486-7727 to schedule a free trial session.
