Yonge MedSpa & Salon’s owners are opening a home health care store on the first floor of their 3360 Yonge St. location. Owned by Salma and Al Ladha, the shop will focus on compression stockings, sports bracing and maternity products. Al says he was inspired to expand after caring for his 94-year-old grandmother. “We’re not a big box store,” he says. “We’re community based, and we want to provide that extra level of service to our customers where we feel there is a gap. Celebrate the Village Day Street Festival on Sat., June 13, brought to you by the Yonge Lawrence Village BIA. The festival, which runs along Yonge Street from Lawrence Avenue to Yonge Boulevard, will have a large sidewalk sale, entertainment, a play area for kids, clowns and treats.
