Morton's

Last Year #80

The best steak house in Toronto is the one where the server brings over a cart piled with examples of everything they serve - raw. I do not need to be shown raw potatoes or broccoli, but eyeballing the Tiffany of steaks before they grill it is kinda fun. Morton's beef is all the best America has to offer, and it's been aged for more than two weeks, and then grilled at 800 to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit to seal in flavor and juices. Bring it on! It takes more than 50 bucks to buy most of their steaks (not including sides) and yes, it's worth the price. Perfectly cooked hunks of spectacular aged beef go down like honey. Thick hunks of meat are red, juicy, full of marbling, beautifully seasoned cooked, and loaded with flavour. It's enough to make the staunchest vegetarian reconsider.
