Carbon, North Toronto’s new, hip menswear shop is now open. “We specialize in more casual lifestyle clothing, and 50 per cent of our stock is denim,” says owner Alex Mazelow. After working in retail for years, Mazelow saw a great opportunity in the uptown Yonge area, which he noticed was getting a serious facelift.“We wanted to be a part of that,” he says. In addition to the more mainstream lines, Carbon also carries a selection of Canadian designers.
