Celebration Shoes

Celebration Shoes owner Carma Saunderson has come a long way from dyeing and selling footwear from her home laundry room. Her popular Yorkville bridal boutique, which she lovingly describes as very British, houses her personal line of whimsical, hand-dyed shoes as well as items from designers such as UK-based Rachel Simpson and Diane Hassall. Jewellery by local designer Nancy Ciccone of Baubles Inc. adds some serious sparkle to the selection. A major plus is Saunderson's custom-made silk flowers. Cut in New York by a third generation petal cutter, these floral fashion statements are one of my favourite accessories in the store.
