De La Salle College “Oaklands” is an independent, Roman Catholic, coeducational day school, inspired by St. John Baptist de La Salle. Founded in 1851, De La Salle College continues to educate young men and women in a Christian atmosphere, developing a strong sense of religious and moral values. The College offers an advanced liberal arts curriculum, enhanced by extracurricular programs enabling students to develop leadership skills, self-confidence and social responsibility. Students at De La Salle embrace a challenging curriculum, engage in spiritual life, athletic programs, extracurricular activities and community service. Our graduates go on to be scholars at universities across the country and around the world.They will also be expected to be ambassadors of the Lasallian mission: “Enter to learn.
