Yamaha Music School

Yamaha Music School

Yamaha Music School began in 1954 in Tokyo as an experimental class for young children. The unique methods produced results quickly and Yamaha Music School rapidly gained a reputation throughout the world. To date, more than 6 million students have graduated from Yamaha courses. The most distinctive feature of the Yamaha Music Education System is its emphasis on creativity development. Yamaha students learn not only how to hear, sing and play musically, but also how to express themselves creatively. Even young children develop creative skills in specially designed activities. The notion that only advanced music students who have mastered their instruments can learn to compose is quickly dispelled in the Yamaha system. Specially designed Yamaha courses are available for children (age 2 & up), youths, teens, adults and seniors. Visit us at www.yamahamusicschool.ca.
