Indigenous filmmakers and artists imagine Indigenous life 150 years in the future in new VR projects. As part of Canada on Screen, five Indigenous filmmakers and artists have been commissioned to create VR projects envisioning Indigenous life 150 years in the future. Three of these works will premiere at TIFF Bell Lightbox in June 2017, including Danis Goulet's The Hunt (pictured above), Scott Benesiinaabandan's Blueberry Pie Under the Martian Sky, and Postcommodity's Each Branch Determined. The remaining works will premiere during imagineNATIVE in October 2017, also at the Lightbox.
