This event occurs weekly, on Thursday.
In this fun exercise class, you will work toward strengthening your muscles and flexibility by using Pilates moves while sitting on a chair or standing. You will also work on improving posture, balance and co-ordination. This class follows Osteoporosis Canada's exercise guidelines. That is, no twisting, no side bending, no flexion (no sit-ups, no crunches, no roll ups, no toe touches). Small weights and bands can be used. This class does not have a cardio component or a mat component.
