The Richmond Hill Group of Artists is pleased to bring back our popular Artist in Residence Summer Program. Each week different RHGA members will turn the front room gallery into a studio. There will be original artwork in various stages of completion as artist use the week to demonstrate and create. Completed work will also be on display and for sale. Come in often to see the progress and the variety of talented artist in our community! Summer Gallery Hours: Fridays - 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturdays - 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sundays - 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Mondays - Closed Tuesdays - 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesdays - 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursdays - 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm ** (Mill Pond Concert in the Park evenings) Week 7 Friday, August 11 to Thursday, August 17 Rani Satpute Indian born, I am a self taught watercolour artist. My work shows love for plants, flowers and birds. I am following my dreams of exhibiting my paintings and creating awareness among people about preserving nature and knowing about different flowers and birds. My only vision is exploring the beautiful nature and world as well and expressing it through colours and my brushes on paper. Needless to say I am very excited to share my dreams and the journey of watercolours and want all enjoy this colourful journey too..... (work shown) Helen Litras Admits her passion for painting; however Helen has many other passions and interests as well. She enjoys a healthy social relationship with her family and friends. Helen belongs to a Greek Choir and she regularly gathers with her friends to sing old Greek folks songs. She also has a great passion for gardening. Her extensive flower and vegetable garden keeps her very busy throughout the spring/summer months. Helen draws great inspirations to paint her landscapes and florals from her gardens. Helen's choices of medium are oil, acrylic and watercolour. No admission fee, free parking The Mill Pond Gallery is located in the heart of historic Richmond Hill across from the beautiful Mill Pond Park. All are most welcome!
