#3 Honest Weight

Honest Weight

Only 20 seats but it’s the sweetest little seafood resto in town, based on the simple notion that perfectly fresh fish goes great with… anything. The small menu reaches from Italy to Japan via Thailand, and with great grace. It’s easiest to order pan-fried fish, as you see on display at their impeccable retail fish counter. But they do complex really well too: Their trademark okonomiyaki pancake — a tradition to which whole restos in Japan are dedicated — is a feather-light pancake stuffed with the fish of the day, shredded cabbage and mountain yam and bacon, and topped bonito and green onion and super-yummy secret sauce. Their Thai lobster salad is loaded with lobster spiked with toast peanuts, chiles, Thai basil and vinegar. And we love the chowder, a clean un-thick cream. Quaff the Caesar with housemade clamato and cucumber vodka. Dreamy.
